Why do people go to the gym to get some exercise, but then park as close to the entrance as possible, so that they don't have to walk so far?

It makes me laugh when people drive to the gym to go running on a tread mill. Why not just run to the gym?

In a diabetes magazine there was genuinely an article on how having sex was a great way to exercise and loose weight. Anyone else see the two major flaws with the idea in this article?

sex may well end up as weight gain for half the people involved!

i live in an eight story building with the gym on the 8th floor, people still get the lift up to the top!!

Why not spend an hour less in the gym then?

Do people who have missing arms/legs/fingers/toes get cheaper life insurance as there is less chance of them getting then severed off in an accident?

I guess it would be easier in the day but I can only go 7-9 with a friend as that's when we are both free. So its quicker and easier to take the car as he also lives out of town. Plus its a good excuse to use the mini on the country lanes ;)

Why do people who cut you up, almost taking the front off your mini, then proceed to flash their hazards to thank you for letting them out - when you didn't have a choice !!!

Why am I forever reminded of my drunken antics?  ;D

In relation to the gym one: Why do people go to the gym, only to stand around and talk? It annoys me so much!

Why does the man in the booth, on the bridge never reach out to take my £1.50 toll? Leaving me to stretch my not very long arms upto the window, often with a squeek of pain :L

Why does my wet and dry sand paper fall apart if I leave it out in the rain?

Does Wally wear striped clothing because he doesn't want to be spotted?

(ok this is more a joke than a random thought and isn't one of mine but hey, I started the thread)

I got a coupon for one of the grazebox things with something I ordered off amazon.

Thought I would order one and give it to my mum as she is trying to eat healthy at the minuet and loose some weight. It has a tick box for 'I suffer from nut allergy'. Why?

If you suffer from a nut allergy you will avoid a box of food that contains nuts in it. Is that box really necessary. Just a general warning saying this contains nuts would be sufficient.

I check mine every week, surely they must notice. I was following a police car the other day, who was behind a people carrier with just the centre brake light working! Why didn't they stop them, there's no excuse! Poor maintenance

I was following a 206 earlier today were not only were the brake lights must have been faulty and were on permanently, but the o/s had clearly failed completely, as just the n/s and 3rd brake like were on.

Why does it take so long for woman to pull away from petrol pumps after they have got back in their cars? You never have this problem with men?

By the time I have got back to my car from the cashier, I have managed to put my card back in my wallet and my wallet back in my pocket. I press the button on my keys to unlock the door, get in, put the key in the ignition, put my seat belt on with my right arm while simultaneously resetting my trip with my left (who says men can't multi-task) and as soon as my seat belt is in the right hand is free to start the engine.

Its probably less than 30 seconds from the point I get back to my car to the point that I am pulling out the forecourt. The woman in front of me tonight took almost 5 minuets.

Also I've said this one before but I will say it again. WHY DON'T PEOPLE ACCELERATE ON SLIP ROADS?!?!?! Every day this week I have overtaken people on the slip road when joining the M54 and the fastest I have managed to get to this week before joining the M54 was 65 mph because of slow people in front.

Why do people slow to 10 sometimes 20mph slower then the speed limit when they go past a speed camera? It annoys me so much!
