The guys on our shop floor have just asked the question, does a platapus taste more like a duck or a beaver?
.... & if they taste more like beaver are Catholics allowed to eat them on Fridays & during lent ?
(during the 17th century the Roman catholic church designated beavers as being fish)

A guy a work reckons the platapus is an alien that got stuck on earth. I reckon he might be onto something with this theory.
A semi-aquatic egg laying mammal from another planet? there's a lot of frozen water on Pluto -perhaps it was once warmer....

If you use an iron in a hotel, and you left it on, and it burnt the hotel down killing everyone inside, would you get done for manslaughter? (courtesy of someone I work with)

No because they should have sufficient fire detection and suppression systems to allow a safe evacuation.
If the above scenario happened then management would be sweating bullets over the upcoming reaming they'd get from H&S.
