They should have language lessons as one of the options in the videos you can watch on a plane.

 

For example: I will be travelling from London Heathrow to Tokyo Haneda airport. I could put the 11 hours 40 minutes I will spend on that plane to good use.

 

Fortunately I have already learnt the most important phrase. Biru kudasai.
