Why do people buy convertibles and then drive them on beautiful days like today (27 degrees here) with the roof up and windows closed? You buy a convertible for two things - to enjoy the car with the roof off and to pose. If you drive with the roof up on a sunny day, you look like a plank.

How the hell does Swarfega go mouldy? I thought it was mainly detergent so surely anything that lands in it for mould to start should be killed off?
I had to through half a tub away yesterday because mine had gone furry.

People like to pose but don't have the minerals to actually have the sun on their head so they just keep everything closed and use the A/C
Utterly pointless!

Why did WW2 Japanese Kamikaze pilots wear crash helmets? In case they got hurt?

Would an orchestra not be able to play without composer waving his stick about?

Ever seen Wallace and Gromit, A Close Shave? It's so they can take it off when the going gets a bit serious.

When I flew back from China our foundry technician was the only one of the three of us travelling that got stopped despite me carrying all my insulin and my director was carrying his surface and forgot to take his glasses off.
Our foundry technician was stopped as he had left a metal spoon in his bag yet he had it on the way there.
One of our colleagues from China was stopped at a train station while carrying our foundry technician's bag. He had a right argument with the security person as he was trying to explain he was carrying someone else's bag. Luckily I saw it happen so went back and when they pulled out the offending can of deodorant the security people were really concerned as they had obviously never seen old spice. In the end I had to spray myself with it to show it was fine.

Why do plasters only stick to themselves and knees? If you put them on anywhere else they always peel off unless you are able to wrap them around and stick them to themselves.
Also. Why don't they make boxes of just the long thin ones that you can wrap around your finger? They do boxes of just the little ones. The long thin ones are the ones that always get used in my house so we have so many packets that have just had these ones taken out the box and the rest are unused.

I ended up getting a plaster set just for finger cuts, so long ones that wrap all the way round, onces to go on your knuckles and not fall of straight away
I hate the wash proof plasters, fabric ones are much stickier

Airport security is apparently related to leg room space in the plane. When I bought my tickets about two weeks ago, I had to buy the extra room seat on the way out since the cheaper seats were not available. When I got the airport I was surprised that I was "pre-checked" and I could skip removing my shoes, pulling the laptop out nor emptying my pockets. I thought awesome, I must have flown often enough that I am trusted. Today flying back on the cheap seat, I am back to being a suspected terrorist, I guess with full assortment of checks. For $50.00 I am trusted. That is called security.
It proves that everything and everyone has a price.

Why? Well that goes without saying.
