Anyone get sucked into 'bargains'? I went into the CoOp last night for a small box of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes and they were doing 2 huge boxes for £4.00. So, I spent about £2 more than I was going to and now have more cornflakes than I can possibly want or eat, and they won't fit in any of my cupboards!! But it all seemed like such good value at the time ....

We do it ALL the time. Same with other deals like something that is 70p or 2 for £1. We always spend more and get more than we want just because it's a good deal.

 

You know what you can do with all those cornflakes then..................

We had our first voucher from Morrisons match and more today. £3 off when you spend £30. We never spend £30 in Morrisons but i bet we will this weeks just to get the £3 off.

Well, I was working in the back yard and I thought I saw a tiny Black Widow spider (I had seen them previously inside the mailbox!). But after close inspection, it was either a very happy spider or it had a clever disguise....

Just endured 3 hours of jazz. Why do the audience clap during jazz? Every time one of the blokes did a tuneless, doodly noise everyone clapped. Is it the law you have to show your appreciation? You don't do that anywhere else. . I thought it was a load of horrible crap.

I have never understood jazz. I think it's a specific way that talented musicians can get money for doing a load of tuneless garbage. Fair play to them for getting away with it but PLEASE don't play it anywhere near me.

 

All I can hear whenever I see the word "Jazz" is John Thompson from the Fast Show saying "Helloooo. And welcome to Jazz Club. Nice!"
