How many hours do you guys figure you have into the project so far? It all seems so easy in an 18 minute episode but a lot of the processes and panels can take hours to get right. It is inspiring to watch.

How many hours do you guys figure you have into this project now? It has been a great series and everything seems to fall into place in the 18 minute episodes but there is a lot more too it then that.

Love these videos, how on earth have they not been picked up by a TV channel.
Maybe you should sell a DVD with the complete build on it when it's done, also maybe a T shirt or two saying I watched Binky's flange being done from the rear ! could earn you some dosh at Mini show's when it is all done.
yea i'd buy one of each.
but you know what i would really like to buy.. the template for tubbing the arches, make it look so easy and factory looking...
savage rebuild can't wait for next installment

We're trying not to think too much about the hours to be honest. In excess of 1500 workshop hours is a rough estimate. Hundreds of editing and production hours for the videos.
The reaction and great comments do make it all worthwhile, so thanks everyone!

You might want to take out a few hundred hours for all those tea breaks. They don't count i'm afraid.

Rubbish, tea breaks definitely count; that's when we do our best thinking!

Ok, i will concede on that one. I do it myself a fair bit too.
That's drinking tea, not thinking.

This is by far the best thing on Youtube just bashed through all the episodes, i've waited till there was a few up.
Excellent stuff, far superior to 99% of crap on TV.

Just pondering again. That steel pipe in the sill...interesting idea...not seen that before or i've just totally ignored it.

I have just spent the afternoon watching the videos.
I have known about this build for some time now but never got around to watching the videos.
The skill involved in creating this monster is amazing and the quality of the video and the way it is scripted is so bloody funny.
I felt lucky to have only just seen this as i didn't have the agony of having to wait for the next instalments.
Keep up the good work guys its fantastic!

After working on Binky absolutely flat out for over a year, we've taken a little breather to recover some energy and enthusiasm. Therefore, episode 7 is still a few weeks away but it is coming, don't worry!
