I own a year 2000 rover mini cooper sport which has had a problem for a little while now on start up its fine then left for about 5 to 10 mins with or without being driven the fan kicks in. Even when driving it seems to stay on when taking it easy, i have been told it may be a temperature sensor problem i was just wondering what people think ? Ta Pete

Just bumping this back because I can't get the links to work. Am after a new temperature sensor too but also....my intermittent wiper isn't working. Park, sweep fast and slow all work just not the first position for timed sweeps. Am led to believe it is the relay under the steering column/dash but I don't know what it is and can't seem to pin down what I need.

Could someone link both the sensor and the relay?

Many thanks.

Darryl.

At that price I might just do without it, after all earlier minis didn't have that feature.

If yours is an MPi then you actually need this for the wipers:

The other one is a conversion for early cars

Sorry, quite right. OP did say 2000 MPi. Relay is YWC10152. No longer stocked by Minispares.
Other cars used them including Land Rover. Brit car have some

Can I just clarify something...mini spares haven't had the correct part for ages but what you're saying Mr A-Cell is the Land Rover one is correct to fit as a replacement?

Mine is actually a '97 mpi...

...there is 40 quid riding on this... :-)
