Hey everyone, I am looking into buying some new wheels, but I have heard bad things in the past about Midland Wheels with tyres etc, I found posts on here but they dated back a few years so i was just wondering if anyone has had any recent experience with them?

Thanks in advance!

Have MDW Starmags on mine, Were on when I bought it. Corrosion has now got under the laquer which dosen't look great.

Made the mistake of buying Some 6x12 Superlights which are the best looking ones but no local tyre fitters could get tyres on and had to threaten court action as an unsuitable product to get them to take them back.

I've got a set of D1's from midland wheels not had them for long though, put wheel sealer on them to try and protect them in winter, I'd heard bad things about them, apparently if you go to a garage they have difficulty taking the tyres off (don't know how true that is though) the centre caps don't properly fit either they're too loose because they've machined too much off the lip.
