anyone said Spanish recession?

tremendo!! ;D

Hahahahahahahahaha you have made me laugh!

Gracias!

With the beautiful attention to detail put into this build it's a shame you couldn't source a genuine Mk1 shell, lovely work.

I can say that knowing myself, if I had a MK1 shell I should tried to build a FIA one and it's no good for my wallet  >_<

And here in Spain second hand Minis are rally overpriced so you can imagine that getting a MK1 is hard and so expensive...

Thank you very much for your words!

The price of a Mk1 here is crazy too my friend... a replica like this is definitely the closest thing... and if you bin it on a race track then you still have all of the parts to easily reshell into a later shell again, or find a Mk1 if you decide that it's definitely for you!

I will be following, your work is stunning :-)

Well I had to comment again what a nice collection of top components, so its not only James Martin the TV Chef has a few quid (euros) to spend on Minis then. Top Man

I seen one cage like mine in a french forum. With these you don't have to remove the bins, so it's easier.

Deep pockets? I have a big hole in each pocket hahahahahahahah Luckily, I'll finish the car soon  :D

Time to fit the MK1 lexan windows in the MK3 doors. Plastics 4 Performance kit is really well made.

WOW! Mad mk1 replying my post!  :proud:

Looks good mate, keep going.

I've been following your project since I bought my Mini. In fact, the first time I saw Stack gauges in a Mini was in you car.

Thanks!!!

HaHaHaHa  Really??  Where have you been following it? here or on TM?

The stack stuff is just the same price as the smiths stuff.

This is my style of car :-)

Simon.

Yes!  :shy: I've been following it on two sites

If you pick standard Stack gauges the price is the same as Smiths. If you want programmable gauges then you must pay  >_<

This is my style of car too. I'll send you a PM.
