Saw this happen man. Just sat down to watch the racing and this was pretty much the first one we saw. Me and the GF were well impressed with how much you were destroying the BMW haha. Fair play to the person in the Bini though that was some great reactions. Even the guy over the PA complemented her on that. Any way hope you get it fixed. Its a lovely car.

Didn't see it but heard it when I was at one of the trade stands. The guy made a crack about selling a few more panels - poor taste but thankfully no injuries.

We were looking round the stands. My mate saw it happen, but when I looked over it was just in time to see you spinning and hitting the wall backwards. Was painful enough to watch, glad you're ok!

Would also be interested to see a video but not seen one yet, but was a bit early in the day so probably not many cameras around. Someone told my mate you had a rear tyre blowout....and someone else told me it was a driveshaft that snapped. Doesn't look like either was the correct!

A driveshaft has snapped but paul belives it was due to shifting into 1st rather than 3rd.

But even he isent entirely sure what happend

video ^

wow, that looks shocking, paul is very very lucky to get out of that one............If I didn't already know the outcome of the crash then I would have feared the worst for the driver, the whiplash from hitting the wall at this speed could have caused some very serious injuries.......if not worse............glad he's ok though.

Woh!!!!!! :ohno:

I had no idea this had happened at the time, but I must have been walking past one of the Bini stands just afterwards, as the young lady in question returned to the stand in her Bini looking very pale and shaken, a few of her friends had gathered round the car asking what happened and if she was OK....... Now I can see why!!  O_O

Anyone know where I can see photos of the car? Heard a lot about it but for some reason everything's gone?
