Me and Shifty were talking about the car in the stands not 10-15 minutes before this happened. Such a shame. I hope he fixes it! Im glad Paul is ok too!

I've got pics of it on and off track, bare with me and il pop them up.. its not pretty.
I feel so bad for the fella
From where we were standing it looked like he missed a gear or something, then went to select the next one and the next thing we saw was the front end dip down and the back slide out.
My heart sank when i saw it happen the bang was so loud!

Paul, glad to see you are ok - my heart sank when it all went out of shape.
Such a pity - you were having a really superb run!

Yep, it was me. The car is fixable, it might need a new rear valance but the rest of it will knock out.
to be honest for years Ive been wanting to strip it, tidy it up and repaint it as I built it 13 years ago and its starting to show so now I have an excuse.
I think I might have got 1st gear instead of 3rd but not quite sure. I was doing around 70mph as I changed gear so doubt it was going much slower than that when it hit the concrete.
So is it a blessing in disguise? Gives you an excuse to strip it now? Hope you weren't hurt though.

Paul used to be a regular on here, there's some topics on his build kicking around. Great shame....
Scratch that, hope it's fixable Paul. It was is a work of art.
