it was all bent and rotten. tried straightening it with oxy acetaline but just bent it even more somehwere else haha.
i used to steel electrical conduit.

the handle bars where rusted about 2" from each end due to the end inset bits. so i machined up a couple of new ends, and a nice finishing bit on it... i'll let a couple of pics do the talkiing
the end 2" is solid bar inserted into the trube handle bars, then welded all the war around, flatted of and ploished up a bit. this wont be visible with hand grips on but wanted it to llok right.
the handlebars have since been blasted, etch primed and painted!

Is that aerospace primer paint?
might be.... and the top coat might also be epoxy aircraft paint...

Ahaha brilliant a guy I worked with had his panels and subframes for his mini down but some one broke the machine with a car door and it soon stopped
