Ok, these haven't quite been put into production yet, but how many of you would be interested in these??

Got to gauge and idea of how popular they would be.

These would fit the 1/10 scale Tamiya Radio Control Mini, which LOADS of you Mini owners out there have....

BUT have you ever seen a CLUBMAN body for it??

These are clear so can be painted what ever colour you like!!

they would cost around £20ish, may be a little less, depending on how many people want them.

If you are interested, then please let me know and i'll let the model shop concerned know!

Cheers

Jiffyman!

Cheers for that.

The one in the pic is only the prototype, but looks pretty good up close.

I'll get some more pictures if they are wanted by anyone.

Oh, and just to confirm, it fits the Tamiya CLASSIC Mini

You can already buy the original roundnose ones, but I think original Tamiya ones are a tad expensive!!

I'll ask if he does a round nose version too..... :errr:

I'm not too sure.

The one in the picture is slightly larger than the Tamiya Mini, but he says it will fit the HPI chassis that had the Mini shell on it, but I don't know which chassis that is though.

I'll go over and get the dimensions of THAT shell.

The new shell would be for the TAMIYA M-01 or M-03 chassis for the classic Mini.

If you have one of the Tamiya M-01L or M-03L, which takes the BMW Mini shell, I think, if you look in the manual, it tells you how to shorten it, which will enable you to go to the Classic Mini or the Clubman shell when its done!! :errr:

Mmm, I've got one, in one of the MANY boxes in the loft, done up as the blue Italian Job Mini, with one of the kyosho MkI bodies on it, with all the chrome!!

Me thinks I'm going to go ferreting around soon!!

Shame they don't do a Jiffy shell!!

I would be interested but the smallest car I have is a 1/10th 200mm wide

The way tamiya got a mini shell to fit a 1/10th nitro car and make it look right was to class it as a 1/8th (nitro), only prob is they no longer make the 1/8th mini shells any more.

So for those that don't have the little tamiya minis, could you see if the shells could be scaled up to 1/10th touring car size?
190mm or 200m wide with a wheel base of about 260mm

If you could scale them up then I will defeantly have clubman shell

If not I will have to just go out and buy a tamyia mini for it to fit on.
