This was my friend Andy's chop.
This car is probably the biggest single reason for me breaking out the angle grinders. I only chop or "build" custom minis from cars that are deemed too rotten for re-sale or normal renovation.

Not quite. Going to use a fibreglass skin and extend that. Otherwise I would need probably two metal skins.
That's weird....
Mine is a 6" drop and I used the original roof for the outer sections and another for the infill panels round the sides and front and the remaining 'inner' complete section for the main roof. My chop's roof is about 3-4" wider and around 6" longer, but I managed to do it from 1 carefully cut infill section.
