Whats the nice looking green machine at the back of the MG ? looks tasty! :proud:

Might be a Dodge Dart. They weren't that big, and it does seem to have the right sort of colour scheme. Didn't think the early Skylines were made as left-hookers. Could be wrong though.

My cousin bought a brand new one in 1972 with the same colour while we were in college. He still has it. It was a blast to drive. That was one of the reasons I bought a Mini since I had a hard time getting into the Midget back then and these days it would be impossible.

It has arrived :) really amazed how good it is underneath. Seems like a new exhaust system as well!

Hooked the jump leads, and the fuel gauge started working, ignition light, and oil pressure! brakes seem ok as well, but will check them over...

Looks tidy.

The door gaps look nice as well.

I am a sucker for MG's

I was thinking, oil cooler, maybe leccyfan. Leccy ignition (got a spare metro distributor) air filters, maniflow system. And a good clean!

Well, an eventful day, cleaned the points, plugs, drained the old fuel and put some new fuel in, and it runs! Speedo works, tacho works, main beam, oil pressure, fuel gauge, indicators and hazard works. Quick spin to see if all gears engage, yep! Brakes a bit iffy will strip and see whats what. Got some oil, oil filter on order.

No problem, I am 6ft and have never had a problem in one. Loads of space! There can be an issue on MGB's with the top rail getting in your eye line but it doesn't affect midgets unless you are very tall.
