Hi all,

 

I have a complete metro turbo engine for sale

 

Basically the spec is:

 

1.5 roller tip rockers

 

Modified head with chambers opened up to 26cc to lower compression (all work done by TurboPhil on the TurboMinis Forum)

 

New head gasket

 

New clutch plate and pressure plate

 

4 Pin Diff

 

Straight cut drop gears by Swiftune

 

Mirage manifold

 

Hybrid GT15/T2 turbo with 360 degrees thrust bearing

 

Turbo manifold

 

Turbo carb

 

Turbo Plenum with side pipe welded on for dumpvalve

 

The engine did not need any work on the pistons or crank as was all in good condition.

 

New big end's and small end's 

 

New conrod and head bolts

 

New oil pump

 

The engine has never been ran, since I done all the work, but has alot of pressure and turns by hand. I changed my mind it what I was doing with it, as now I am going Suzuki

 

I am looking for £1300 for the complete unit and I am based in Hounslow, Middlesex, london.

Are you sure there only roller tip rocker they look blot like mates fully roller.

yes they are roller tip rockers, as advertised when i bought them

Bobby if you decide to split I may be interested in the cylinder head depending upon the specification.

I've also got a standard turbo head (and new bk450 head gasket) that I could part-ex if you are intent on selling the engine complete .

 

by the way that hybrid turbo used to me mine! lol

lol, John if I decide to split I will let you know mate, I remember this turbo has been in a few different hands, as we spoke about before on TM forum. Although still in very good condition

Fair enough. Can you share more on the head spec or has it just had the chambers opened up?

interested in the engine, but im guessing wouldnt be possible to see/hear it running?

 

possible to know what work is left to do on the engine as well?
