yeah i thought about it a lot. a bit of stretch would have been cool, but after considering how much its costing me, i decided to just play it safe in the end and not run the risk of them not fitting properly. my 13x7s fit nicely atm, except the fronts stick out a little too far, and the rears not enough, so im having the backspacing altered to sort that out. plus when i put the beauty rings on that will make the lip stick out a little further and give the impression of more stretch lol... 13x8s do look good though, especially on yours

pics look ace, nice frown on the lights   if you want a quick fix for the steering wheel you could just get a steering wheel boss and bot it on? had the same problem buying a early wheel on eBay no tab for the steering lock so had you use my old race wheel boss.

once your steels are banded sure it will stop the suspension issues ypu had at la mans as they will be way lighter than your current wheels and a lot less stress on suspension parts

i think ive sorted the steering wheel problem using duct tape and cable ties haha. not as dodgy as it sounds and works pretty well lol. 

 

oh yeah definitely, lightened steelies are just common knowledge!  ... oooh stop it, im paranoid about that enough already haha

dropped all the wheels off today to get the tyres swapped over, but decided to get a couple new tyres fitted since the rears were looking a bit low. means i have to wait till next weekend to get them back since im on holiday next week  ... ah well, as they say, good things come those who wait
