I contacted them by message and heard NOTHING..
I thought ok I will contact the manufacturer of these caps and they have been amazing so far.they confirm that the caps sent are not for the MPI and is probably the reason the screw thread fails to tighten down and wrong psi.
I will update when we know what one should be used as the ones I bought last no time at all.
I have bought them from one of the main boys plus others claiming to be genuine and they do not last or work efficiently or even screw down correctly.
Im now sick of shelling out £6 to last no time at all..I even bought a new genuine(hopefully) expansion tank...
Will let you know as these caps are bloody useless and could contribute to head gasket failure...

Yes they look the same give or take a few markings but It seems suppliers are not sure which are correct...
The manufacturer I have contacted are looking into this and so far the caps I received are WRONG and are not for the Mpi..they confirmed they will fit the Mpi for a short period of time but will not last screw thread fails etc etc... There are also two very similar caps, one is 10psi and the other is 15psi pressure..we need 15psi version..can you tell from initially looking at them,NO...

Can you pinpoint which suppler and when/where?
I'm currently running on a Smiffy'sBits cap and seen no ill effects.

Of course it's permitted. If you go to the buying and selling section there is a specific section for reporting this kind of supplier issue. Please contact the supplier though and let them know. They will want to know that their wholesaler is selling them the wrong parts marked up as Unipart approved when they aren't. If Old Skool (who incidentally I personally wouldn't call one of the main boys, the internet is brilliant at making local suppliers appear to be national) really aren't interested as you hinted at above, and they still dont correct the error even after you have done this research, then please add a warning to the relevant section.
