Uncovered the poor girl the other day to get a bit more stripped off.
Hoping to shot blast all these and reuse as many parts as possible.
Side windows out!
Would be nice if I could get some number plates made the same as these.
Looked up Hills plates and they seems to just do modern ones now. Chances of getting some made the same are slim.
Its pretty much just the doors, windows and headlining left to come off the shell now.
Anyway thats it for the time being.
Ta.

Theres a place just round the corner from her that does the old riveted type plates. I bought one for my red mini. Just thought it would be nice to find another set of Hills ones like the ones on the car but I guess thats just me being picky haha.

So this has not been updated in a long long time! After being complete stripped down it sat covered up for a few years due to those little hick ups life throws at you now and again and then being messed but by a bodyshop the car finally went in for some bodywork with Retro Restores.
This is how they got the shell
They made a good start at it!
Then lockdown hit and this is how far it come, hopefully it won't be long till they can get back on it.
Unfortunately most the pics on here from before have gone.
About 80% of the parts needed for the car when its back are here waiting, the interior is at Newton being done at the moment as well, the last bit that need sorting is the engine. Ill try and keep this updated more often but more more progress pics see Retro Restores facebook page or my Instagram @JonLeaky
Thanks!
