Ah an offend other members by dissing their Mini topic  :D

I think it depends on the Mini to a degree

Sandglow is pretty yucky, but better on clubbies somehow, especially estates.

Classic 60's shades can look pants on body kitted Mins

Pink suits Shorty's

I have a soft spot for Citron - but not with a black bonnet & padlocked door.

Random post just to say i have to agree with scaffers.

I'm taking about the profile pic, not the pink colour.

If it hasn't already been said, I wish I could have had my car in primer, whatever colour that is, I love it!

The colour depends on the car itself as to how good or bad it will look.

Worst thing i can think of doing (which is what I see a lot of people doing) is painting their minis in ford colours. Can't see the attraction when you see dozens of cars every day in that exact colour?
Also, the ST colours are terrible, not just on a mini but on everything

There's a City E in a local showroom near me - it's in some sort of metallic gold. Don't know the name of it, but it's yuck!

I think all Mini colours are good because they are representative of a time and era which can evoke many happy memories. I have to agree with painting them non standard colours - Why? But at the end of the day it's your car to do with as you please.

Have to say, I agree with that. A little OT, but there's a Triumph Dolly sprint close to me - mustard yellow with a vinyl roof - Looks so 70's it hurts! Couldn't see that in a neon green...

My favourites: Cherry red and primer petrol blue (think that's what it's called)

Worst is most defiantly like a pastol pink....end of discussion.
