quote from a person which posted I just watched the movie 'Back to the Future II' and saw how they put rotting food in their car. This seemed to make it hover and fly around. Therefore, I stuffed my fuel tank with half eaten pizza, old bread, and the contents of my bin. So far nothing has happened. Anyone else had this problem?

can u put plain vegetable oil in the gas tank of a diesel or does it need to be converted through some process first?

Yeah it works a treat. You can buy allsorts of conversion gizmo's but my mate has been running his citroen Xantia on veg oil for about a year with no probs. I think there is an additive that is helpful or essential (one of the two I can't remember). Anyway I think it's a little bit of ethanol but I'll double checkcan u put plain vegetable oil in the gas tank of a diesel or does it need to be converted through some process first?

"Dr. Rudolf Diesel Miller demonstrated a diesel cycle engine running wholly on groundnut oil at the Paris exposition of 1900"can u put plain vegetable oil in the gas tank of a diesel or does it need to be converted through some process first?
Mineral diesel was introduced as a way of milking even more taxpayers hard earned cash. The engine was never designed to use it.
I think. :S
