Cheers! I'll probably hang a small one off the rear valance with a matching fog at the other end, but I want to get a boot mounted spot light and use it as a 'work light' to keep it legal.
Been doing small bits and boobs in the sweltering heat today, will update with pictures later

So, got a few small bits done today
Firstly, I started rustproofing it, using Dynax as below.
So far I've done all the arches and the boot floor, just the main floor area to do now.
It's completely clear
Front indicators on, proper glass ones which look the best, they were a right faff to fit.
Rivnuts in place for the fan
I cleaned the fan up a bit, but as it isn't seen I didn't bother too much
Got the rear loom in place too
Just small boring bits at the moment, but I'm waiting to buy some more sound deadening so I can fit my headlining and then the glass. I've got a mate coming round next week hopefully to help get the main loom fitted.

Looks fantastic mate.

Thanks!
It is a good stage to be at. The only problem is I have a heart attack every time something goes near the paint, it already has a couple of scratches.

So, most of the loom is pretty much in place now. I just want to give under the scuttle a coat of paint then I can route it properly.
I want to get some black conduit to tidy it all up as well.
Next stage I think is to get the headlining in then I can get all the glass in.

Not much has happened to this really, I'm looking for some headlining roads so I can get that fitted. I need to get the subframes painted but I can't even get to them at the minute.
Planning permission is progressing slowly (very slowly), but surely to build a timber framed garage to house the project as the cover I'm using is just ruining the paint, that will also give me a nice clean environment to build the engine.

Lots of bits have been bought, I've now got nearly everything I need to build up and attach the subframes. The subframes are also nearly painted.
Pics to come.

Hi,
I use Hobbyweld, for which I paid a £60 deposit refundable on the return of the bottle, and £35 for the actual gas.
The regulator is bought from your local welding supplies place, or online.
