Did a bit more welding today.
Decided I didn't like the split height seat base, so I cut it down so it's the same height and cut down and welded up the companion bin.
Finished off by welding in the other harness mount, so I now have both mounts fiied up and ready to go. Just need to paint the back bit of the cage BEFORE I weld in the crossmember that the seats hang on, as it's going to be a bit tight in there with it fitted up.
Got a bit of arc-eye and a headache now, as I was welding without the mask because it keep hitting the roof and if I got low and looked up, the weld splatter kept burning me. Welding whilst squinting or closing your eyes tightly isn't good
But at least it's sorted

could you wrap some rope over the joints so it looks more like wood lashed together like in the pick above ?
