Hopefully your repairs aren't needed in the same area as I'm currently doing Rob, I hate the fact it's multi layered repairs!

 

Fabric is the better material to have I think, could Newton Commercial not knock you a new seat cover up ?

 

 

Today I've been clearing the garage out mainly but also made some progress on Cuey

 

One more repair scratched off the list, about 6 more to go!

I can see how thats a pain!

I like to think i'm pretty sharp with retrimming myself if i'm honest. The fabric on there is just so saggy its stretched its not saveable to repair. And as the seat doesnt work as it should i thought i may aswell grab a new one

looks alright mate good time to buy going up in price now need to get my MG done and flog it fund my mini and my other metro!

Just been and picked up Cuey's new suspension!

 

Now to start drawing up a design and fabricate some loveliness,

Haha, probably not Rob, but I know how excited I am in thought of selling the mk2 when I've got to a stage with it and getting Cuey in the garage finally to do the sills, jacking points and get the suspension changed to run Coils and Hilo's!

 

Might see about making a jig to make a few and sell them on to fellow metro owners looking for a simpler design :)

I dont know if you saw it, but we were discussing this over on the metro owners club. It'll be worth talking to one of the midas owners as they have been known to do this kind of thing
