Hello again folks,
Later on today after doing some work on other things i got stuck in to abit of work on Cuey, i removed the front wing to inspect and protect the arch and innerwing area, but found out I need to do a few rust repairs before coating anything...
As you can see below its nothing severe, but does require abit of attension, should have it cut out and a new piece made up and possibly tacked in on the next update and alos i've decided i'l be chopping the bottom of the wing off and fabricating a new end piece that bolts the bottom of the wing to the sill, as the area on this one has past its best to be fair (pictures below of this).
Wing off:
Top seam were the wing bolts down too before underseal was removed:
Front valence mounting point and wing bottom:
Bottom of the front wing were i need to cut off and repair:
Mounting point on the sill:
After i had removed an area on underseal:
Also i found these bits of tape that were well sealed in place, no idea if they are standard or not but they seem to have done the job!!:
Cheers,
Cliff
