started to fabricate thr alternator bracket. went to my local hardware shop and got some 90degree brackets and some 2mm thick steel strip. it'll be tight for the alt but seems to go in with plenty of room to allow tensioning of the belt.
have decided to go with the mpi rad which i think will be ok

Wow, theres not much clearance in front of that master cylinder, is that not going to cause a problem if there is any movement from the engine?

just dug this out of the boot.....picked it up at the newark autojumble for £25 still in suzukiGB original box. nos gsxr1300 endcan.....mmmmm
should do the trick
OD diameter at the end is 2 1/4" and the inner bit is 1.5". on the inlet side it is 2.5" but i'll have to make up a plate to allow it to bolt up the 2" exhaust pipe

I think if I was you I would modify my pedal box and bring the clutch and brake cylinders inside the car.40mm stubs welded on to the flange today. still plenty of tidying to do though, got to tidy up the ports and get the flange flat as its distorted a bit with the heat.
I did this years ago with a red top 16V in a mini race car. Leaves a nice open flat bulkhead.
I think I used triumph spitfire cylinders
I was using twin 45DCOE's as nobody was using throttle bodies in those days.

Coming along well, your making it look easy! (Unless it just is easy? )) We wish
Keep up the good work, proposed completion date?
well, i started stripping the old engine out this time last year. was hoping to get it done for sept last year. hoping to get it running soon (for avon park in july )
i found there was a lot of fiddling and modding and sourcing of bit and bobs which take longer to do that the actual spanner work. the next PITA will be getting the engine to fire on megasquirt
