Starting to see the light now, it has come a long way since she was looking like this on somebody elses driveway!

Two years exactly to the day since I first drove my little beast, to get a Chinese Take away with my mum and dad! I can't wait to drive her again!

And I have some super rare B and C pillar covers from a Mk3 Metro I guess

Planning the MOT for the end of the next month and then I can get her home and start making her look pretty again :D YAY

Ritaaaa!!!!

Got the fuel tank bolted up. This is very fun on your own! Holding it up, ratcheting bolts completely blind into holes that don't like up whilst having to constantly keep your trolley jack pumped up since it's recently decided to die and lose pressure.

and also got my Sportex fitted :-) Cat back.

Interior is an absolutely dump, It needs a good clean and a lot more nice extras to go in which I either already have or will be ordering on Friday  :gimme: including a tastier steering wheel :P

My friend is coming from Holland for Castle coombe filled with goodies. To be honest mate, I took it off the road with the intentions of making it better, although it's now manual, I've done almost nothing of what I wanted to do :P

Yeah mate it's top effort on your part!!! Building up a car hand tools outside on yer tod! I've got two full on workshops and my new jobs racing fabrication workshop to build my car and I can't seem to get it done yet!!

The super lights look prime on it, but as you say, serious money:/ I'd just get it on the road with what you got, then slowly mod it with any spare money you manage to hide away from your new job!

Which sounds epic:P. free goes after work?;)

exactly that mate! I need to save over £1000 for my insurance, it's so tempting to just splash out £240 on fancy adapters to bash on the superlites and mod the hell out of it but I need to be saving so that I can actually drive the dammed thing!!!

and your job also sounds awesome!

Hahahaha sounds epic! Getting paid for a stress free relaxed job around Motorsport! Could you ask for more!:P. what track you at? Kimboulton?

Yeah sounds ideal, get behind the wheel again first, then mod up!

Haha that's the idea mate :-) Will do me for a while until I decide what to do in my life.

I'm not sure, it's been closed :D

And it's Buckmore Park :-)

Have you heard of it? are you still working with the sevens?

Yees corse I have heard of it! Loads of the lads I work with have or have been karters..

Still with sevens, but all is moving up rather swiftly!! Got a driver who may get a GT3 car, we may be moving to a HUGE new premises with seriously pro spec garage:P then I think the future plan for 5 years or more is to do some endurance racing and higher tier racing:)

If we ever run at an endurance event, il let you know, I'm sure you and Simon would like a paddock pass:)

Got some more done this evening. She's really coming on now. I've bought some Mk3 door cappings which come with some tasty Rover plastic wood to compliment my luxury interior, and my C pillar trims are in on one side.

This weekend we will be finishing off the wiring, doing the welding, a quick prime and paint and then she's READY for MOT :D

And the MONSTER hill I have to walk up as part of the 1.9 mile journey every time I want to work on her!
