Oh that reminds me! there is a slight update to this thread. After years of not having a splitter because I couldn't justify the prices they were going for, I watched one on Ebay which was going for a tenner, it was in Pinner, 5 miles up the road from Simons uni in West London so I had a bid at ten, set my highest at £40 and won it for £10!
Tomorrow I'm changing my manifold and fitting the splitter so Rita will look like old times again! It's something I have missed and will round up the build nicely

Just browsing through mg-rover.org and came across this on there.
There are quite a few nice looking Rovers on there. I'm really liking the 800s at the moment, and the old 200 wedge shapes.
