Hi, picking up a Gold Seal Engine this monday.

id reads: bhm1271e 105414 with DD stamped underneith too.

I cannot locate on any a series listing. Anyone got a clue?

Allegro 1275 maybe?

Any help appreciated. thanks

BHM1271E is a 998 A+ engine High compression generic Metro unit, circa 1980.

 

The fact that it's over 30 years old, assume it'll need a rebuild....

MillView was the program used to run the Rover EPC.... bit old skool now as it's 16 bit and the later windows systems struggle to run it... I have it running on XP 64bit ok tho' so I could probably get it running on Win7 and 8
