Get yourself on metropower and metroownersclub websites, theres always good cheap(ish) metros on there :)

Hi i have signed up to both of them i posted on here first as people rob the engines and scrap the cars i want the car but have a custom built engine and box ready to drop in going to make a sleeper banded steels and few other bits and then take it santa pod

Theres a red MG metro on metro power that has/will be having its engine removed, the guy was on about selling it, might be worth checking out

im going to check it out now and yes similair but im going to be be doing alot of work for power and getting the power down without it spinning up :)

Theres a guy on facebook called jonny watts, he has a seriously lightened metro rolling shell, he was on bout selling that too, his profile pic is a road sign sayin business as usual, might be worth askin him

Someone offered me one at work today assuming I'd be interested in the motor but I have motors pouring out of my ears.

998 model I belive.

I have motors and cheap as possible mate not bothered with mot or tax got my own engine and gearbox for it etc

All I know is the guy wanted £600, it's not mine but owned by a guy I know. We are based down in kent so it would need collecting from down here.

As I say, nothing to do with me at all, but I could get the guys phone number if its any good to you.

I am under the impression it's in exceptional original condition.
