I remember seeing the bini badge on one of the magazine feature car i think. It really suited the clean style the owner was going for. Old badges have a bit too much detail and is a very dated design.

Do what you want, don't let people with their own prejudices sway you from carrying out your own ideas.

This... the new badge design is about the nicest part of the new MINIs. I'm tempted to put one on the front of my mini, just double sided taped on so can be removed if I cahnge my mind.

I like the look of the new one, much cleaner.

(And its not like it says BMW)

There are actually no BMW badges fitted on any New MINI's in the same way that no classic Mini's had any Rover badges (except for a few Rover Mini export models) as Mini became a standalone brand from the Mk3 in 1969 with no Austin or Morris badges. The MINI Dealers Showrooms, etc are also seperate from BMW although often on the same site alongside.

Of course it is always possible to find BMW or Rover logos stamped on a few parts internally.........

Personally, always wondered if you could retro fit a Moggy Minor bonnet badge onto a mini bonnet? Im sure the sage lines of the mini bonnet line up with the badge? I reckon it would look pretty decent

i personally went for no badge, just felt it made the front look less cluttered.

i actually quite like the look of the new badge, and im a fan of anything different or unique, so i say go for it  ;-)

And you thought having a bit of a BMW on your car would be otherwise??? SHEESH  >_<

For some reason my old Mini Mayfair had a Rover badge when I bought it. It was down on the log book as an Austin, not a Rover.
