I remember seeing the bini badge on one of the magazine feature car i think. It really suited the clean style the owner was going for. Old badges have a bit too much detail and is a very dated design.

Do what you want, don't let people with their own prejudices sway you from carrying out your own ideas.

hi i am after a bonnet badge for my mini but i want something different to the original one. what do you think of fitting this one? http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3cd20e9a1f

The R50 MINI Badge was originally designed by Rover if that helps and is anyway very similar to the final classic Mini Badge logo as used on all the classic Mini MPi Handbooks and Manuals (See PDF's in Link below)

http://www.theminifo...haps/?p=1124507

As said ignore the prejudices of others who often just blindly follow the crowd, Mini owners should be free thinking individuals!

If you like the badge use it on your Mini and be different.....although I have seen it used on other modified classic Minis.......nice idea about using the large MINI Countryman boot badge  ....by the way it is also the boot/hatch release handle.

http://www.countryma...-fat-badge.html

If you look carefully in this 1997 preview launch video you will see the prototype R50 New MINI has the same badges as the Rover Cooper!

I have them. I prefer them.

got a pic of one fitted?

I'll get you a pic. Mine are from a cooper, not a huge countryman or paceman. Not to everyone's taste, in the same way that sportspacks and 13's aren't. But it's your mini. If you like it, do it.

Used to have one on my Mini as the badge is a lot smoother and went with the look I was aiming for.
