Hi great progress so far.
I had a look at your pics and a lot of the rust on your car is very much just surface rust.
I have had really good results with phosclean B. Its only about £10 for 1 litre and that will last you a good while as its as thin as water. You can buy it from rustbuster. It will dissolve very light rust leaving just the pitting but it does need neutralising with water after. Also their FE123 rust converter came first in the test in both mini magazine and practical classics as well so they sell some good stuff. Bilt Hamber also sell some really good products. It will cost you less than buying the small bottles you have and probably be a better product.
Here's a pic of a clubman wing I just prepped with phosclean B. It leaves the metal blue and gold in colour, kills the rust right into the metals pores, stops the rust reforming and etches the steel ready for paint.

Obviously if the steel is rotten and has holes all this stuff is useless and new metal will need welding in. Many on here will be able to give great advice in that department. Sonik who has posted on your thread has done some amazing work on his minis.
Keep up the good work, Ollie

looking forward to another week of 12 hours a day on the mini to get it into a state ready for some welding so those products will probably help a lot to get it ready quickly ...
Managed to purchase a mig welder cheap today aswell so already for that
