hi all, i've fallen smitten to a set of gold 12x6 mambas for my thirty and some 165/60/12 tyres (possibly A532's)

i currently have a set of gold 12x5 supalites with 145/70/12 tyres with standard rover special arches and on full lock on uneven ground they just about touch the wing

will these new wheels/tyres rub any more than present ? they are wider but slightly shorter so maybe this would cancel out ??

also how far will they stick out from the arches ? i like wheel poke but i don't want anything ridiculous - a thirty has spaced drums and discs so will be wider than on a drums all round mini if that helps

Cheers

Rhys

Yep, they will rub quite a lot. This is all relative to your ride height, I run 6x12 supalites and had to trim the arches/front panel quite a lot.

They will poke a bit as well, this pic might give you a better idea...

i've got wedge stance with my fronts nearly on bump stops when i sit in it atm and tyres rub sometimes on full lock

that said that looks b-e-a-utiful  :gimme: i love the wheel poke, do you get much hassle from the old bill and mots etc with that set up ?

I didn't really use it enough to have any bother from the po, but it just got dirty to the point where it needed washing all the time, which annoyed me.
