Thankyou all :) I really appreciate all your comments.
It's amazing the difference a week makes!
Aw, you've gone & spoilt it now.....!!!
Just kidding, she looks great! And I like that heater box, need to get the rust off ours & give it a lick of paint!
Haha the battle scarred look is nice but it was looking especially crappy!
The new heater has made such a difference. it's had all new internals as well. The lack of rattles is amazing. I was going to paint it but the red's been done really well.
So I'm in a good mood so I spent this evening with cutting compound! There was quite a bit of overspray so the bonnet was pretty matted as was the wings.
As you can see in this picture.
So after an hour of cutting and buffing. (yes my arm is currently on fire) this is the result.
I'm getting better at this painting malarkey!
I also saw a pretty car on my way home, can't resist a photo.

Wow...that paint looks brilliant (no pun intended!!)
And it's a shame those modern sheds spoil that last pic.!! - & what a nice pub that looks!

Thankyou :) It came out better than expected!
It's amazing what you can do with a spray can. (or two)
I did think that too! But thought going in and asking them to move would have been a little much! haha
Oh I did take one without the modern cars!
Sadly it meant losing the pub!

The Boars is (or certainly used to be) a great food pub. It's in the village of Spooner Row. Haven't been for a few years now despite passing it regularly.
I see the TR around quite a lot. I guess he must live not too far from me.

Thanks Steve :) I'll bear that in mind the next time time I'm in the market for a fancy meal.

I'm not 100% on them so I'm expecting some stick for them!
I'm not too sure really but we'll see.
Apart from that I've developed a weird whirring noise coming from the front offside. I'll be very annoyed if it's a bearing already as it's only done 7.5k miles! Not sure what else it could be though. Ahh well I'll pull it all apart eventually.
Problems of using these cars properly I suppose!
