It's bank holiday so we expect to see the stripes fitted tomorrow  ;D

I'm afraid I failed in that task! The driving rain meant I didn't even get to try!

You'll have to wait until next week now.

I'll also be fitting my new exhaust that should be coming this week. I copped out and went for a boring system.

Maniflow LCB with a single box side exit system.

I hope it sounds nice!

Joe

I haven't seen those air filter things before, where did you get them?

The air filter stub I bought from DSN Classics, it's from their Retrosport billet range.

I know I can't now be impartial as I'm indirectly employed by them, but they do make some beautiful stuff.

But it's certainly a hell of a lot nicer than the rusty jubilee clip I had there before!

& before anyone asks yes I did pay for it rather than making one go missing....  ;D

I'm sure they'll be plenty more of their stuff to come on this car!

Keep the 1275 stripe kit, lose the others and you've got a pretty perfect Mini in my eyes :)

Those GT Stripes look really smart with those wheels, ties it all together nicely !

Will agree with the others though, if you lost the other stickers then that would be a perfect looking clubman !

Evening all :)

Well that was a hectic weekend!

In total I managed over 530 Miles!

Thankyou for the compliments on the stripes, I think they look the dogs danglies. :)

Stopped in at minispares to grab some drip rails for my resto project.

On sunday I was at Shelshly Walsh for the Retro Rides gathering. Sadly I arrived too late for the hillclimb sign on :(

Stripes were a little tricky due to my wobbly doors, but damn they were worth it.

I used these, and fully recommend them.

& finally todays latest addition. I figured since I'm no longer running the correct grill ( I've run out of decent late grills!) I had to go early, and early grills have to have badges :)

So after an epic weekend the poor mini had developed a bit of a shudder low down in the rev range. From around 2-2200 rpm under load. I checked timing, fueling, spark, compression. All perfect! This evening I topped up the oil, checked and re torqued everything, and just a general inspection. It's now significantly reduced! Bloody cars!

This is also waiting to go on...

Next weekends going to be a busy one! Got to make her presentable for Stanford Hall haven't I!

Oh I'll also be respraying the front end. Should look good!

Hopefully....
