Bad times about the rust, seems to be in more than capable hands though! Enjoying the read and loving the clubman all round to be honest. Keep it up

So I'm still dealing with rust! I'm getting there slowly.
Waiting on a rather large order from minispares full of odds and sods which should let me complete the car!
Rust repairs
Before
After
It's not a perfect repair, but it retains all the strength and looks a damn sight better!
More to follow when my order arrives!
Wheels are also delayed due to the country wide stock shortage of Yoko A539 tyres!

Definitely!! I bought an old set of 10" x 6" mambas, then had to go out and buy a car to fit them onto!!

Looks like Astral Blue to me, a colour that was avilable when the car was built.

Weirdest thing i've seen is a guy in italy who spent a fortune in buying full leather mpi seats as he dreams of owning a mini, havent ever had a mini and probably will never have one!
This explains many things about why italy does not work LOL

Well I have a 1972 clubman which i've spent a ridiculous amount of time and money on, and it's still a way off as well as maintaining my dad's 1979 1275 GT. After seeing this GT I quite liked the idea of driving a GT while the clubman is still under the knife. So having built up quite a collection of GT parts, this is my idea of a quick job for the MOT.
And yes I have serious mini issues.
I'm still arguing with my dad whether it's Astral blue or Denim blue.
