for sale is my genuine 1994 Rover Mini Cabriolet

12 months mot and tax runs out at the end of the month

i've owned it for about 3 years now and it'll be sad to see it go but i have a couple projects on the go and would be good to free up some money and also see it go to a good home where it will get used

ok well about the car

ENGINE, CLUTCH & GEARBOX

1275cc Multi point injection engine taken from my own low mileage (37,000) 1997 mini cooper, was given a full overhaul with new seals and gaskets all round, recon gearbox, new clutch, new clutch salve cylinder, new clutch master cylinder with braided hose, new ignition leads, various stainless bolts from smiffy's bits and probably other stuff i've forgot

COOLING SYSTEM

new MPI front mount rad with electric fan, new rad mount bushes, good used mpi coolant hoses, new thermostat and also had a plastic bodied heater unit fitted to interior

EXTERIOR

painted in porsche gulf orange, standard rover fitted bodykit (cheap on insurance as it was standard so don't need to declare), new windscreen (old one was going cloudy round edges), black grille, wipac freeform headlamps, stainless headlamp rims, clear indicators all round, ultra rear light lenses, black door handles and boot lock

overall the bodywork is in very good, had outer and inner sills replaced by previous owner shortly before i got the car (receipt included), there was a little rust in the center of the scuttle but i cut this out and replaced with new metal (pictures available), paintwork at the front of the car has a few stonechips but nothing major

INTERIOR

standard mini cabriolet recaro style seats, original rear door cards, front black leather mpi doorcards (still have grey originals), w&p carbon look dashboard (still have original wood dash but not in great condition), mpi steering column and steering wheel (with the better stalk switches), mpi magnolia speedo clocks, pool ball gearknob, autogauge aux gauges (need wiring in), alpine flip out screen headunit, cd changer and focal speakers fitted front and back

also with the mpi conversion being done it had a full mpi loom fitted with interior fusebox

WHEELS AND BRAKES

12" SSR MK1 billet alloy wheels with yokohama a539 tyres all round, standard 8.4 inch brakes with painted orange calipers, new front brakes hoses about 1200 miles ago

SUSPENSION AND SUBFRAMES

MPI front subframe fitted with new poly tower bushes, new lower rear mounts and new bushes etc where necessary, rear subframe in in good condition

also fitted new steering rack gaiters and nearside track rod end for the mot the other week

PRICE AND DETAILS

£6250 ono

v5 here and in my name, car is hpi clear and i have a folder full of receipts from work and extras i've added or carried out, plus lots of old receipts from previous owners

car is located in Brighton (BN2) and viewing is available on most days and times

please pm me for contact number if seriously interested :-)

quick snap from this years l2b, waiting on a friend to email over some better ones and i'll upload them instead
