some things have happened but nothing of any great importance.
car is currently stripped and getting the primer sanded off the underside which will then be treated to a couple of coats of POR 15.

Well if the advertising is to be believed this floor should never rust again.
My plan was to do two coats por 15 rust paint then a coat of por 15 etch primer, Seam sealed then a coat of por 15 chassis black top coat but I'm not sure if that is a tad excessive. I am also thinking of giving the entire outside of car the por 15 treatment then primer/tie coat before final paint top coat but we shall see how I get on.
Next it will be sand and por 15 the front bulkhead then flip it onto other side and finish off the floor.

underneath all painted and seam sealed then i got the front bulkhead all seam sealed and POR 15'd
and today i got the inside of the boot seam sealed and gave it a coat of hammerite (because POR 15 is too ££££ to put on somewhere that isn't really going to see the weather)
tomorrow will be seam sealing and painting the inside and prepping the underside of the bonnet for some POR 15

right then troops first day back on the mini for a while. the plan now is to get the body work ready for paint!!!! The majority of the day was spent f^ck farting around trying to fit the bunnet and get the shut lines right. This took so long because I didnt take any pictures or mark up the pivot brackets or the fitting position of the bunnet on the hinges before removing it all to paint it!!!!! dumb ass!!! anyway managed to get it sorted.
i have welded the seam strip to the wing seam and cut the back out of it so that when the flip front is down you can only see it from the back and the wee gap at the top of the wing.
