so doors and arches fitted, I've put a seal between the arches and that seems to have altered the position of the lower split arch so some fettling to be done and one of the threaded mounts in the drives side arch started turning as i tightened it up and left a big bubble in the paint so will have to repair it and repaint and fix a bit above the rear screen where i burned through with polisher.

so managed to get the rest of the bits and bobs for the exterior primed and painted.

a wee bit of advice for anyone wishing to change the colour of their wheels:  pay someone to do it for you, painting wheels is a pain in the hoop!!!

the indicator are LED's off Ebay https://www.ebay.co....5.c100005.m1851

 

the headlights i got from the states https://www.ebay.co....dQAAOSwX-VZjnOP  so will probably need to swap them for the e marked ones for MOT

I mustve missed when you changed to a fibreglass flip front, Project is looking awesome, you dont hang around paint is looking great for a garage job!

i haven't changed, this is still the welded steel front

for anyone wanting to know how far a bulk pack of 2mm silent coat goes, it will do the entire roof and inside cabin from parcel shelf to cross member.  

 

I've got another box to do the boot, door skins, and front floor and bulkhead.  Is it worth doing both sides of front bulkhead and rear seat back or is that just a waste of material?

What did you work out for the radiator?

 

The rad comes as part of the kit and is mounted on the drivers side, you can see it in the video (its got a bit of plywood taped to it so the fins didn't get damaged.)

Good milestone to start the engine up.
Nice idea with the choice of exhaust looks like a decent fit and something a bit different.

I should add that the vid is from Sept last year before i took it out again to paint the car.
