That's more like Antelope in the flesh, this is genuine El Paso beige... ;D

The 'El Paso Beige' on that printed / scanned colour chart looks much to dark! (reminds me, I've still got a pot of BMC El Paso touch up paint in the shed somewhere...)

Edit : just twigged, that colour chart only goes up to '67, 'Antelope' was an official Mk3 colour, intorduced in late '69... ;D

Ah right. El Paso beige does look a lot lighter on that mini in pic! Don't know why it's so much darker in chart. Lol maybe it is antelope beige.

Well the colour chart is a scan of a print etc.... the pic of my car was taken in normal light and the colour rendition is pretty much spot on. In dull weather it looked a bit wishy washy but in full sunshine it looked very nice ;D

Incidentally, a mate of mine has a Sandy Beige Mk2 S, the colour of which in a certain light looks a bit like mushroom soup! The OP's Mini definitley looks like Antelope to me. Those BMC / BL charts do occasionally have mistakes here and there, wrong shades, names and code numbers etc! The Mk3 Mini colour range had one particular shade on their charts that was never used, it was withdrawn before the first Mk3 rolled off the line... all sorts of things went on at Longbridge in those days...

This is Sandy Beige...
