Hi guys,

 

My mini is in the paint shop at long last but the last thing stopping me is the shade of red to choose. I have looked through many pictures but haven't got what I'm after.

 

Can people please upload pictures of their red minis with black roofs. As well as the pictures can you give the shade of red, whether is be an original mini colour or not.

I don't know for sure what kind of red it is because I bought the mini like this but I compared it with a RAL color chart and it looks like it's RAL 3003.

This is still the only pic I've got of ours (& as she's currently a non runner stuck in the garage I can't get any more at the moment);

 

 

It's also RAL3003

 

Is there a reason why RAL3003 should be a popular colour for a Mini?

Not sure of the red but it is a Rover colour.....

Im considering sticking with flame red at the mo.

Anybody got any other shades of red for me to ponder over?

Much as I like the RAL red ours is painted in, one reason that I wish ours was Flame red (or at least another 'standard' colour) is that if you need to you can just wander into Halfords & get an Aerosol touch up can off the shelf, rather than have to get one mixed up.

That's very true, I do like the ral red but I'm looking at standard colours really, like the Mazda one above.

Anyone else got more pictures??
