£192
-Back and front near side wheels curb damage repaired
-All four wheels sand blasted, rubbed down and re-prayed silver
-New valves fitted
-2 day job
Seems like a good deal :) booked it in for next Thursday and should get it back Friday :) then it'll be already for L2B Sunday!

For close to 192 you could buy  a completely  new set!

Then sell your 'curbed' ones on.....

It's still quite a bit cheaper to get them repaired. They'll look brand new anyways when done :)

If you can tidy up the edges nicely, then power coating may be a cheaper option? I done this with a 13*5 set of mini wheels, but I had to pay £40 for local tyre firm to remove old units, and then put new ones on. Its show time about now where there are always good deals to be had, if buying a new set is an alternative.

The company thats doing it for me do powder coating. This is their process of refurbishing the wheels. Since my wheels are 13'' its £48 p/w

I dont have much time to work on them and want to get them done professionally since I've just got a new body paint job ready for L2B next week :). Dropping the mini off next thursday and getting it back friday :) I think if I were to buy a new set of wheels, I'll prob go for a different style rather than buying ultralites again. I'll keep my eyes out at shows anyways :)
