Right well don't think I ever did a thread on here of my last mini build but this is the new project! Iv finally got myself a mk1 be it very very rotten, it's definitely going to need a 90-95% rebuild I'd say!
Iv decided to call her Pepa as her first digits are EPA anyway I'll let the pictures do the talking...

I want it! I get so jealous of these barn find style mk1s! I will defo be doing one of these once my van is done! What you going to do first on it then?

Well first plan will be to find some semi rigid doors so I can brace up the body there isn't excatly a lot of floor pan left! So want to try and keep it as straight as possible. Then it will be dragged into the garage and stripped down and a big big panel list made up

Hi Tom looks very similar! I'd say my floor pans are worse but least I have a doorstep kinda keeping it together where yours seems to have disappeared!, i must say they look like they are going to need pretty much the same amount of work to get on the road yours is better off in some respects as you have more original features where some of mine are missing :-( mines going to be a very slow project mainly as I'm renovating my house at the moment But hey iv always wanted an mk1 so had to start somewhere

 i have no floor lol every inch of the shell is going to need work on. but i am in no rush myself to do it. it will take me a year to weld the door post in haha good luck with your project. and i will be keeping a eye on this so i can use some of your ideas
