Afternoon guys and gals

Some of you may have seen that I am selling my 1980 Mini 1000 HL.

I've only owned the car for about 6 months, but we have recently moved house and no longer have a double garage to keep both Mini's in, and I don't want to leave this one out in the poxy British weather. This, combined with the fact I can't afford to restore two Mini's at once, forces me to have to let go of the newcomer :(

I'll keep it short and sweet. Basically she is an Applejack green 1980 Mini 1000 HL, a model that is getting quite rare these days.

She is all original, hasn't been modified or tampered with.

She comes with a shiny new 12months MOT, 6 months Tax.

Since i've owned her i've attended to a few sore spots on the bodywork, put the interior back to original, completely overhauled the front brakes (new backplates, shoes, cylinders etc.) and just generally got her back to an original little Mini.

The only thing left she's really asking for is a respray, which will turn her into an extremely fine, original example of a model that is getting harder to come by.

The interior is in excellent condition, as are the mechanicals. Advisory on MOT suggests she will need a front wheel bearing before the next MOT (just being honest!)

This would make an excellent starter project for someone getting in to Mini's as there are a few little jobs that a home mechanic can easily attend to

Alternatively this would also make an excellent daily/weekend car. I have used it for going back and forward to work in the last couple of weeks while the weather has been good, she always starts first time and drives beautifully.

I've got a box of spares that I have accumulated that i'll throw in with her, including a brand new black headlining, new chrome window trims and various other bits and bobs.

I'm looking for offers around £2000 (reduced), a very reasonable price I think, considering the age and condition she's in!

Located near Basingstoke, Hampshire. If you want any more info, pics, contact details etc. PM me :)
