Steve, perhaps you misread my post. I stated that i wasn't targeting you as the current owner, and yes, i have read the majority of your posts made upon TMF.
My quote was actually "Isn't it obvious that, like most things nowadays, this is just becoming a money driven scandal?" When i say "becoming", i have not referred to you specifically at all - my agitation on this issue is that if this mini falls into the wrong hands, it will almost certainly fall helplessly into a chain of sales with something selfish like money at the root of it all.
Again, just because i am a younger member of this forum, doesn't entitle you to tar me with the "childish snobbery" brush? I stated that i intended no harm whatsoever, I am simply voicing the opinions of many...
Given that you are auctioning without a reserve does not mean anything, it is frankly going to make considerable money due to the nature of the mini.
sorry buddy i wasnt saying you was childish but in earlier forum quotes and conversations with other orginastions have been very childish believe me ...we are all entitled to our opinions as we are entitled to sell our property and because people make a living from buying and selling cars doesnt make it a money driven scandal to some it a living ..so no worries and feel free to bid so it doesnt fall into them" wrong hands "

only the roof everything is still as it came out the tunnel
O ok fair enough I thought you'd done more than that
Well I guess the future of it will be up to the new owner, if anyone feels that strongly then they should turn up and bid

I recon I be tempted to leave it as is
But then what do you do with it? If you build it up at least you can drive it?

I'd mock up what it looked like in the tunnel and sit the car back in "situe"

At the end of the day mate it's your car sell it and make some cash, just like all the barn finds you read about, no one kicks off with them.
