I have lots of photos of the restoration and a folder of receipts and other information that it would just take too much space to list it all here. The best thing is for genuinely interested buyers to come and view the mini itself, and I welcome you to be as thorough as possible. You are welcome to bring your own mechanic or the AA etc if you would like to. I have loads of photos of the work I can show you and will provide tea/coffee and any tools you may need for inspection. I have priced it reasonably and realistically to sell. You would be hard pressed to get a tidy well looked after mini with MOT for under £2000. This one has had the rust fixed with genuine rover pannels, A full set of brand new Maxxis tyres just fitted, with new wheel nuts, loads and loads of new parts and hours of labour as well so I believe the price is fair for its condition. I am not expecting to get my money back on this but please feel free to make me a sensible offer.

4-speed manual gearbox.
Engine, gearbox and clutch are in excellent mechanical condition and everything works, as it should.
Body work is in excellent condition and all rust replaced with genuine rover panels.
V5c present in my name.
Two previous owners, from the same family, from new. Owned by me (3rd owner) for 9 years.
Not been on the road since restoration, which was completed last year, has been dry stored.

Selling as I cannot afford to keep it and use it. I have bought a van for my work and was planning on keeping the mini for a weekend car but due to change of plan (moving away to a city and starting my own business) I have decided to offer her for sale to a new owner who will be able to take care of her. I have put a lot of work and money into this car, and this was also my first car and will be sadly missed. Genuine buyers only please who will look after her. Ideal for a young driver who wants a mini with low insurance group and which they do not have to worry about rust.
As this is a classic mini please be aware that they will require slightly more love and attention than a modern car to stay at their best. However most of the hard work has already been done and the new owner can maintain and customise it as they wish. The paintwork was done by me so is not showroom condition I’m afraid although is a lot better than most older minis I have seen, and has polished up well. Also please note this has had all the rust sorted and new paint and lots of new parts but it is still a 23 year old car so please bear that in mind.

Notes and details of work carried out.
- Full engine service carried out, replacement of points, condenser, Distributor cap, rotor arm, Ignition coil, spark plugs, engine oil, oil filter and air filter. New fan belt. Distributer lubricated, suspension points greased. Engine compression test carried out shows roughly 160 PSI on all four cylinders. (I have the tester and can demonstrate to the buyer)
- All rust repaired and following panels replaced, all panels are genuine rover (BMH): Both A panels, Drivers side wing, Drivers side inner scuttle closing panel, Healboard, Boot hinge panel, rear valance panel, Both rear subframe mount and closing panels, Both outer sills.
- I have had a full set of brand new Maxxis low profile tyres fitted for the sale and new wheel nuts. Fitted with a set of locking nuts with key as well.
- Brand new battery just fitted with 3 year guarantee.
- I have had the seats and carpet shampooed and cleaned.
- Front and rear rubber suspension cones replaced all round with genuine items, front and rear suspension arm bearing assemblies replaced all round, front and rear knuckle joints replaced all round, front bump stops replaced. Steering rack gaiters replaced.
- Rear brakes rebuilt, new springs, seals, cylinders and bearings. Front and rear bakes tested and have good pad material. Brake fluid drained and replaced, brake master cylinder cap replaced.
- All MOT Test work will be carried out and will be sold with full years test.
- Original leaking radiator replaced with a good condition genuine second hand replacement of the correct type. Cooling system fully flushed and cleaned and coolant/anti-freeze replaced. New temperature sensor fitted.
- New clear lenses kit and bulbs all round.
- Full in and out clean, wash and wax.
- New Stainless bumpers and stainless front headlight surrounds.
- Small repairs to inner sill, front inner arches and boot floor rear section (All rusty metal was cut out and these have been welded flush into the existing panel, not just butt welded over the top)
- Full prep and re-spray of all repairs and paint polished and waxed.
- Rear subframe replaced with very good condition second hand part. All bushings, pins and bolts replaced with genuine rover kit. Replaced exhaust system with new mounts.
- Chassis under sealed for protection.
- And many more details and costs such as the paint, thinner, polish, labour and welding consumables etc.
PLEASE NOTE:
I am afraid that the driver’s door is a little rusty on the inside bottom. (Can’t be seen from outside) It was removed before the restoration work, stored and that was missed out. (Would just like to be honest) apart from that the mini is rust free now. I am afraid that I do not now have the time to fix it. However the mini will come with enough paint to respray any replacement door, and I can recommend a company to carry out the work if you like.
