Hi guys who know about my Mini yes its been in an accident a chap drove into the front of the car so it may be up for sale to interested parties.  Admittedly I am gutted I put a lot of cash and effort into the car and it was worth it but I am not stopping their?  A new project looms oh yes I am still alive and un injured

Arggghh joss, I feel for you.  In this day and age any mini crash we can walk away from is a good crash.  Money aside Mini's are to most a hobby and hobbies always continue, you've got the right attitude, brush yourself off & continue.  Best of luck to you.

Why not build into another shell?

Thanks chaps and yes it is a hobby and in a way its fun and you are right the money has no relevance as long as you got your health.  The insuarance has been notified and will be surveyed but I don't think it cat d damage it may go to Mini heaven (I don't think so)

Joss OMG not again :-( i can watch the carnage any longer "if it wasn't for bad luck you would have no luck at all"

 

glad you are ok, what did they hit it with? a tank!! it looks beyond an economical repair this time.a  new shell would be the quickest way but not the cheapest.

a good project for someone else joss, you must have lost the enjoyment factor by now mate, the amount of time and money spent on that wee mini is astronomical. i spent around £15k building it :-(

Ok you worked me out I do have a suicidal side to my character, I am also a manic depressive, schizophrenic and do you know I feel great and I will soldier on to my next project (I will sell it now)  Anyway how are things with you

im fine Joss and im sorry to see the wee car like that. sell the bloody thing and move onto something else tomorrow is another day.

 

my car is going for its MOT on saturday so hopefully it will pass 3 years of working on it. so im looking forward to getting it on the road. car show next sunday with it if all goes well.
