Hi, After trying a few days ago about starting up a Basingstoke mini forum i didn't get much reply. Well today i think i have been working my socks off and got so much done. Theirs still a lot to be done but I believe that the forum is ready to go. to join the forum just click this link http://www.hampshire...orumotion.co.uk if you just click on the link then follow what it says on the screen you can be signed up in minutes,

I was a bit nervous about making this forum as didn't want to tread on anyone's toes, i just think it will be good for the people of Hampshire to maybe have a meet now and again and find out who drives a classic in there area.

You are welcome to join from anywhere in the country just saying might be pointless though unless your near the area when a meet occurs :D

Thanks for taking the time to read this

Hi there,

If serious about doing this club / forum, why not do it properly?

Buy a domain name (around £6/£7), hosting service and create a forum on that. It gives you the ability to setup a website at a later date if required, use any forum software you like, have emails from @yourdomain.co.uk etc etc.

I host a couple of mini clubs, we do hosting from 79p per month before discount.

If interested, see http://www.reaperproductions.co.uk for hosting services from me. The value package is ideal for this type of thing and its only 79p per month or £7.99 per year before any discount.

use code ' 4R1BV4JR9K ' for 50% for the lifetime of your hosting.

Also worth starting a facebook page or group and tagging mini owners and clubs to help spread the word.

Jordie

Hi, I am pretty serious just funds are very tight at the moment. I have managed to create one and it is free so there is a twist to the username. the site can take donations that turn into free domain names ect. so its all dependent on what the forum think. maybe at a later date i can think about looking into pricing and stuff, but im just going to let it go from there thanks :D
