Some progress with setting up my air fed mask. Need to make a backing board for these so I can mount them above the compressor:

Backing board done, just need to wait for the snow to clear.

Rolling rockers ordered, lightened flywheel, electronic distibutor on their way.

Looking good, you sure know how to drag out a good project. Those rubber gators will be perished before your finished!!
If your not using the loom on the donor I need a couple of connectors from the switches. Mine had couple of choc bloc fittings directly onto the pins. Not looked on minispares yet.

If possible you're better mounting your filters as far away as possible from the compressor. It gives the warm compressed air a chance to cool and moisture to condense before reaching the filters making them more effective.

Typically you would have your air line rise above the compressor and then gradually descend over its length. You then have your filters and air outlet at some point in the air line with a drain point at the lowest point. If you search air line plumbing diagram on google youll get a better idea of what I mean. So yes filters above the compressor in terms of height and be sure to drain the compressor tank.

Thanks, I'll have a good look. I'm spraying cellulose in the garage so the compressor that is driving the mask will be a portable one which I will wheel outide. Thanks

Really enjoyed Himley Hall, seat covers sorted with Optimise (I hope), new rolling rockers, windscreen, lightened flywheel. Just waiting for the new distibutor before I strip the engine down.

Still working on it slowly, making some changes to the garage to give me some more room.

Very pleased with my purchases at Bingley today:

Twin SU electric fuel pumps, distributor, GT rear badge, new rocker cover, new distributor, Fletcher Stainless system, coming together nicely, just need to make sure I don't buy duplicate parts.

Thanks to all of the traders who took the time today, really enjoyed the show, they had to kick us out at the end.

Started moving the donor car out from the corner of the garage so I can dismantle it. These are amazing from Machinemart:
